April 2017 Wrap-Up: Books and Reading

May 3, 2017

Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update

I started April with 214 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …214! It’s a short one this month, folks. I read exactly nothing this month. Or, at least, I read roughly a million trillion student papers, as well as some parts of a few books, but only managed to finish a few audiobooks. But the good news is I stayed away from the library booksale, so while the TBR pile didn’t get any smaller, it also didn’t get any bigger. And the better news is that now that spring semester is ending I will have at least a little chance to get some reading done (and maybe even – gasp! – some extremely overdue reviews written).

…anyways, let’s take a look at the breakdown:

Neutral books – Read, but don’t affect the TBR pile

Audiobooks
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J. K. Rowling
– Of Poseidon by Anna Banks
Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff (reviews coming soon)

E-Books
The Winds of Marble Arch and Other Stories by Connie Willis (review coming soon)

Changes to the TBR pile

Nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch. Nothin’ to see here, folks.
