April 2014 Wrap-Up: Books and Reviews

Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update

I started April with 261 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …265! That is not bad, you guys. It could have been way, way worse. I bought a lot of books this month. A LOT. I bought some for book club, and some because I wanted them, and then there was the library booksale, and when they’re less than a dollar, it’s hard to let a book that I *might* be interested in slip past. But luckily, I managed to get a fair amount of reading done, and more particularly, reading from the TBR pile, so the damage wasn’t quite as bad as it could have been. I was terrible about reviewing, though. The end of the semester hit hard, and I let myself get really, really far behind. Like, almost a month behind on my reviews. But I’m done, and this summer should be much, much easier, so hopefully I can get caught up, get some reviews written, and some more books read. Hopefully.

…anyways, let’s take a look at the breakdown:
