Happy Holidays 2012!

December 24, 2012

Happy Holidays, everyone! I’m going dark for the rest of this week, although I’ll be back next week with some year-ending wrap-ups ‘n’ such. I tend not to talk much about non-book life stuff on the blog, but this year is a perfect storm of busy-ness – not only the usual holidays things, but also: I’m moving right after the holidays, so that has added a whole new layer to my already full to-do list. The upshot of which is that I’m going to hold off posting any reviews for a bit, partly because I don’t have the time to write them, and partly because I’ve hardly read anything recently (seriously, I don’t think I’ve picked up my current book in almost two weeks), so I need to stockpile some posts for the beginning of the new year.

But enough about me… Merry Christmas to all of you, readers! However you’re celebrating the holidays this year, I hope that they are filled with love, joy, laughter, and good books!

Oh no! Moving is so, so stressful! I hope that it goes okay and you are not out of your mind with stress. I wish you kindly movers. At least you can look forward to the pleasure of unpacking and reshelving your books. This is always by far the best thing about moving — unpacking my books feels like opening presents and rediscovering old friends.
