November 2012 Wrap-Up: Books and Reading

December 3, 2012

Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update

I started November with 252 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …251! For a very busy, stressful, travel-heavy November, I got a decent amount of reading done! I would have liked to get down below 250, but I’m moving soon, so there will definitely be a purge coming up this month.

…anyways, let’s take a look at the breakdown:

Neutral books – Read, but don’t affect the TBR pile

The Spindlers by Lauren Oliver
Captain Vorpatril’s Alliance by Lois McMaster Bujold

Read But Not Owned (Books)
The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan
The Last Little Blue Envelope by Maureen Johnson

Read But Not Owned (Graphic Novels)
Drama by Raina Telgemeier
Locke & Key Vol. 3: Crown of Shadows, Vol. 4: Keys to the Kingdom, and Vol. 5: Clockworks by Joe Hill

Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver

Changes to the TBR pile

Read from my TBR pile (huzzah!)
The Map of the Sky by Félix J. Palma
Feed by M. T. Anderson
The Keep by Jennifer Egan
The Emperor’s Soul by Brandon Sanderson

Added to my TBR pile (all-around shame!)
The Lost Art of Mixing by Erica Bauermeister Speaking from Among the Bones by Alan Bradley
Service Included: Four-Star Secrets of an Eavesdropping Waiter by Phoebe Damrosch
