In which we celebrate Blogiversary the Third!

December 28, 2010

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas (or a good weekend, if your celebratory tendencies lie elseways). It’s been a lovely holiday around these parts; plenty of family time, lots of good food, no post-Christmas returns to make, and what’s more, my family got over the nasty “you have so many books to read we’re not going to get you any more” bug that they were infected with last year. :) I’ll give a run-down of the book bounty with my monthly wrap-up post in a few days, but for now…

This post is coming a day early, but: it’s my third blogiversary, hooray! I can’t quite believe that I’ve been doing this for three whole years already, but at the same time, I can barely remember what it was like not having a blog on which to bloviate about books. But my blogiversary is not so much about me, and much more about all of you. I’m constantly amazed at how wonderful the book blogging community is, and how lucky I am to be a part of it. Thank you all for reading, commenting, and sharing my love of books! Cupcakes for everyone!

LitHouse – Oh, this blog was absolutely a “I’ve got nothing to do while sitting around my parents’ house for a few days after Christmas” project.

    Nicki,
I only started reading the blog this year (so I only get one-third of a cupcake), but I’ve really enjoyed what I browsed. Always some good conversation here. Keep up the great work. Onward!
