TSS: Home again
Australia and New Zealand were both thoroughly awesome. I spent my time in Australia taking roughly six thousand pictures of parrots, and my time in New Zealand was spent taking roughly six thousand pictures of mountains. Good times.
Today has lasted for roughly 36 hours, taken four planes, and covered about half the globe, but I’m home again! Things are going to be a little shaky around here until I get my act together and get un-jet-lagged, but I’ll be back up to full blogging strength soon! I hope everyone had a good readathon and everything else that’s been going on in the past two weeks. If there’s something I’ve missed, a book you’ve reviewed that you think I’d like, etc., leave me a link and I’ll go check it out.

Hi Welcome back !You must be exhausted with all that travelling, Australia is somewhere that I would like to travel to, but I don’t think that I could face the travelling!
Seeing as you asks for links to reviews that you should read, I recently did a review of Muriel Barbery’s novel ‘The Elegance of the Hedgehog’ which you may like to read. It’s a quirky, but brilliant read in my opinion.
I forgot to put the link to the review opps! here it is: http://theolivareader.blogspot.com/2010/10/elegance-of-hedgehog-review.html
Spangle – The travelling was exhausting, no lie, but not as bad as I’d expected, and totally worth it as long as you can stay for more than a few days.
Welcome home! Are you planning on posting any of those pictures for us to see?
Gavin – I haven’t even gone through most of my pictures myself yet, but I’ll try to get some up next Sunday.
Welcome back! I’m glad to hear you had fun over there! :D
Kay – Thanks!
Welcome back! I’m glad to hear you had a good trip.
Memory – Thanks; and thanks for your NZ tips! If you ever get to the South Island, I’ve got some suggestions in return. :)
wow, that’s a lot of pictures of parrots and mountains! hehe.
glad to have you back!
Lisa – And since we saw plenty of keas in NZ, there are some pictures of parrots AND mountains! ;)
You must be absolutely exhausted!
I love taking photos, especially of nature, so I completely understand. I hope we get so see some of them on here!
Alyce – I think we averaged out to two cameras per person, at least, so there are a LOT of pictures. I’ll try to cull some of the best for Sunday’s post. :)
