Search Terms
Oh, crazy searchers. You were strangely absent in March, but you’ve returned in full force in April. Welcome back! I’ve missed you.
book nerd graph
reading sheet tracking books read
average adult reading speed
Oh, boy, do I have a book nerd graph for you! (Er, well, graph-generating spreadsheet.) Check it out here! And while it won’t tell you a global average speed, it will tell you your own personal reading speed in days per book, and pages per day.
brigadeiro recipe
Yup, I’ve got one of those, too.
which mccarthy book has least spanish
I’ve only read two McCarthy books, and of those two, The Road had the least Spanish… that is, none (that I remember). On the other hand…
the road mccarthy message of hope
I seriously, seriously, seriously do not understand why people think this is a hopeful book. There are no more green plants. Eventually the canned peaches are going to run out. EVERYONE IS GOING TO DIE.
who is on the cover of rumors by anna godbersen
I always assumed it was supposed to be Elizabeth on the cover of The Luxe, Penelope on the cover of Rumors, and Diana on the cover of Envy.
i am looking for a good book
Aren’t we all? Check out my 4.5 and 5 star rated books for some of my suggestions.
dava sobel galileo fiction
No, it is not. Ignore what the bookshelf at your favorite local used bookstore tells you. ALL LIES! Galileo’s Daughter is a non-fiction biography.
wordpress i am writing a book blog
Holy crap, so am I! What are the chances?
a magus and a prisoner thief go on a quest
Doesn’t this sound like one of those rabbi and priest walk into a bar jokes? I really want to hear the punchline… On a related note, my favorite joke for several years was “Two guys walk into a bar. The third one ducks.” It’s still a favorite for when off-color jokes (which all of my current favorites are) aren’t appropriate.
story man stuck on mars rings himself
All I can imagine is a dude shaped like a giant bell…. BONNNNNNNGGGG! Unless they meant rings as in telephone? Or unless he “rings” himself, if that’s what the kids are calling it nowadays. Not much else to do when you’re stuck on Mars, I guess.
fyre fly books author
Other than the one I wrote for NaNoWriMo five years ago (which is really only 3/4 of a book, since I got to 50,000 words and stopped, even though it has no ending… and which only three people claim to have read – and only one of which I suspect actually did), no, not yet.
i am going to fyrefly
I’m a verb now?
fyreflyed
Apparently.
where can i find a metaphor in stargirl
On the pages?
diana tiny amber blog
Well, you’re one for four… Not my name, wrong color, and I’m pretty sure my blog’s regular sized.
glenn plaid on stocky men
erotic hoop skirt story
Um… no.
blogs, pretty horses
love those last 3. I have to check if I had any good ones in April.
“wordpress i am writing a book blog”
Well, you are certainly one of the best models out there! :)
Okay, you are like the most organized person EVER! I am in awe! I want to be you! lol
lol! As cool and weird as some of those search terms are, it’s all about your replies :D
PS: It was only when reshelving my books the other day that I found your postcard inside Tigana. I feel silly for not having seen it before, but here’s a belated but sincere thank you!
Lenore – Some of the searches I really just have to wonder what people’s reaction was when they realized they wound up *here*…
Matthew – Awww, thank you! Flattery will get you everywhere. :)
Kailana – It’s a mixed blessing… I funnel all of my organizational impulses into stuff like this, and then am horribly disorganized in actual life.
Nymeth – You’re welcome! I really was more than happy to spread the GGK love.
I always get a kick out of the search terms.
