Read-a-thon: giving up edition
Two more hours done, and I read through Vol. 3 of Fables. I think 18 hours is respectable enough, especially on 4.5 hours of preparatory sleep. I’m going to crawl into bed and try to start Vol. 4, but it’s fat and I’m beat, so I doubt I’ll get very far. I could push myself to stay up longer, but I do need to be functional some time before Wednesday. Tomorrow, (well, today) on the other hand, will be jam-packed with napping and DVD watching. And then maybe some more sleeping.
Final read-a-thon tallies will be posted tomorrow (today) with the Sunday Salon, and there will be a slew of reviews coming this week.
To fellow read-a-thon-ers who are still going strong: You kick ass!! To everyone who commented: thank you so much!!! And to everyone who couldn’t give a tinker’s damn about the read-a-thon: sorry for spamming your feed readers, and I promise there will be plenty of pretty shiny reviews soon! And maybe a contest or twozzzzzzzzz…
You did a great job! Enjoy your rest… :)
It’s more than respectable! You did great. Sleep well!
If you wake up with enough time to do a little reading, I have a short story challenge up at my blog.

I was late posting it so the deadline is not until the end of the read-a-thon.
Please stop by if you can.
Nicki, hope you got some good sleep.
I am amazed and envious of how much reading you got done.
I hope to participate in April. This looks like so much fun.
18 hours is awesome – I know I’m impressed.
Hi Fyrefly! Reading all your posts, and the others about the readathon on other blogs, I want to join in next time … have a good night’s sleep!
You did way better than I did, I only made it through about 8 non-consecutive hours.
