Sunday Salon: No time; must clean

Haven’t got much reading (or anything else) done today, as I’ve been on a bit of a cleaning jag. Maybe my logic is that if I start my spring cleaning, spring will get the message and come early. (Somehow, I doubt it’ll work, but you never know.)
In any case, I did listen to some of my audiobook while I was cleaning, and finish the third part of Book of the Stars, The Face of the Shadow (review tomorrow). I need to start Vol. 4 of the Absolute Sandman, as that’s going to have to go back to the library soonish, plus I’m currently in the mood for some grown-up fiction… but I’m not going to have a whole lot of time to read until tomorrow, so we’ll see what I pick up.
Okay, off to the recycling center and Goodwill with about a bazillion bags of stuff…
I wish I could get on a cleaning jag!
Yes, I am cleaning too! Although I’m taking a break at the moment to read before tackling the other bathroom. Mine cleaning is more a combination of my sister moved out so won’t mess stuff back up/pregnancy nesting stuff.
I can’t say I’d choose cleaning over reading, but sometimes it does have to happen!
I wish spring cleaning brought on spring! I think I’m gearing up for a cleaning frenzy, if that makes sense. I find myself more and more imaganing my room completely moved around and changed!
bermudaonion – This one was a long time coming, trust me.
DoB – It is a nice feeling to know that you can clean things and they will stay clean, isn’t it? (Or at least, that the mess will be your own fault.)
Meghan – 99 times out of a hundred, so would I. The problem is, the past 99 times, I did. :)
Eva – Yup, that sounds about right! Mine was more of a clutter-clearing vs. a rearranging frenzy, but I recognize the symptoms.
Ugh, spring cleaning, don’t remind me! Thank goodness we’re moving soon so I’ll just clean as we pack :)
Cleaning…That was what I meant to do this weekend. :) I really need to do that.
